Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his last speech in Memphis, TN on April 3, 1968, the night before he was assassinated. After countless death threats, he knew his life was in constant danger. Yet he found the courage to righteously speak out for justice and equality for all. How tragically ironic it is that MLK stated on this night, "I may not get there with you, but I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land ..."
